Chief Eternal Optimist, Eco-intelligence, creativity, and innovative philanthropy unite at MATTER Inc.: an industrial design & consulting studio based in New Orleans. We design & produce sustainable products that are uniquely focused on raising awareness and funding initiatives that advance social change. A portion of all proceeds flow to causes that impact the health, happiness, and sustainability of our communities both locally and for our neighbors around the world. MATTER Inc. helps to make the world a better place by creating products and collaborations that matter. ++ We are proud to be the first Benefit Corporation in the state of Louisiana as of August 1, 2012 and in the GOOD 100, 2013!

, Projects include product, furniture, interior, exhibition, wayfinding, lighting, and graphic design [web and print], with a focus on thoughtful, sustainable solutions. Responsibilities include design/art direction, project management, research, and all design processes from conception to completion of the project.

SMBW Architects, Graphic Designer/Marketing, Richmond, Virginia, July 2008 - May 2010
Developed SMBW’s social media platforms and collaboratively designed, organized, and managed two SMBW exhibitions. Created identities, award submissions, and presentations in web and print, working closely with principals.

Kohler Company, Kohler, Wisconsin, November 2005 - April 2008
Industrial Designer II, Department: Faucets, Water Delivery

Conceptualize, develop, and manage multiple projects in faucets, showering, and advanced research. Collaborate with human factors, engineering, marketing, and executive boards to create optimum, innovative, and differentiated solutions. Present projects to Mr. Kohler and VP level. Projects include high end and high volume faucets, showering systems, human interfaces, accessories, storage solutions, blue sky, and strategic water and wellness studies. Also led research groups focusing on materials, trends, the future of water, and new uses for traditional manufacturing processes.
